Chasing speed and liquidity, Forkast prediction market moves to Arbitrum

Having launched on Ronin in February 2025, gaming, sports and crypto prediction market Forkast has announced it’s moving to Ethereum L2 Arbitrum.

Thanks also to a strategic venture from Arbitrum Gaming Ventures, the move will be combined with a push into the wider streaming ecosystem. Forkast says Arbitrum’s 250 ms block speeds mean its ability to integrate into streams will become a key growth vector.

Notably, streamers will be able to launch new USDC-based prediction markets for their audiences in real-time, creating new revenue streams for the streamers and also engaging their communities.

Forkast expects that moving to Arbitrum will enable it to tap into new sources of liquidity, as users as well as larger crypto organizations like market makers and hedge funds can generate yield by participating in the platform’s daily incentive program.

As part of the move, Forkast has also dropped support for its CGX token, burning its supply. CGX was part of the rewards system on Ronin via a staking mechanic. However, the CGX price collapsed post-launch making it irrelevant for the project’s ongoing operations.
