Bravo Ready acquires Solana mobile game Honeyland

Canadian outfit Bravo Ready has announced that it’s acquired Hexagon Studios’ mobile web3 game Honeyland. The terms of the deal weren’t announced.

Running on the Solana blockchain, Honeyland has attracted a total of 300,000 lifetime users, although only around 4,000 daily active players.

Singapore-based Hexagon previously raised $4 million on a $20 million valuation in 2023.

The game joins Bravo Ready’s existing Solana-based titles shooter BR1: Infinite and mini-game experience Bonk Arena as the company looks to expand its portfolio and its platform that’s designed to enable the development, operational and scaling of multiple web3 games. It uses the READY token.

BR1: Infinite is labelled “the world’s first risk-based shooter”, with pay-to-spawn and kill-to-earn mechanics. Modes include $0.10, $0.25 and $1, in which you pay that amount to spawn and earn that amount when you make a kill. Players can also increase their ROI by owning avatars and weapons that provide earning retention bonuses.

“We’re not building a company that relies on a single breakout hit. We’re building an ecosystem that can support a whole portfolio of games and partners, each one a proof point for the power of our platform,” said CEO Evan Ryer,

Honeyland fits that mission perfectly, and we’re thrilled to welcome them into the Ready! Family.”
