Bigger Bite Goes Live on Nakamoto Games as Studio Teases a Coming Tournament

Bigger Bite is now live on the Nakamoto Games platform, and the studio wants players climbing the leaderboard before a tournament arrives.

The company announced the launch in a post on X: “Bigger Bite just landed on Nakamoto Games!”

In a second post, the studio urged players to try it. “Enough watching. Time to play,” Nakamoto Games wrote. “Jump into Bigger Bite, grow your fish, climb the leaderboard and get ready for the tournament.”

How it plays

A number floats above every fish. The player’s fish starts out as one of the smallest.

The company explained the idea: “You start as a tiny little fish with a number floating over your head, and the whole idea is to eat anything with a smaller number than yours while staying out of the way of the big guys cruising past.”

The fish grows with every meal, and any rival with a higher number is a danger. The studio’s announcement hinted that the game is harder than it first looks.

Tournament details still pending

Neither post gave a date, format, entry rules or prize pool for the Bigger Bite tournament. So far, the leaderboard is the only competitive mode Nakamoto Games has confirmed.

The platform already has tournament tools. Players can set up tournaments with custom prize pools, and each one fits up to 64 players.

Part of a wider pipeline

Bigger Bite is one of several games in the works. A community member recapped a recent weekly update from the team. The recap listed Bigger Bite as live, with Sugar Rush Defense, Hellsing, ZomZom Defender and an unnamed new game still in progress.

The same recap said the update also covered new games, growth on the Web2 side of the platform, social and party features, marketplace improvements, and several titles in development and QA.

The 2026 plan

At the start of the year, the studio set out a new direction for NAKA.

“NAKA is evolving into a community-driven gaming ecosystem where players shape games, competitions, and rewards,” Nakamoto Games said in a post on X. “Web2-first for mass adoption. Web3 optional for ownership and earning.”

That post named “Communities, tournaments, leaderboards, and social play” as the platform’s pillars. A casual game with a leaderboard and a planned tournament fits that description.

The NAKA token runs on Polygon. The studio’s free-to-play catalog goes back to 2022, when the platform listed 144 free-to-play and play-to-earn titles.

Even the launch post admits the game isn’t as simple as it looks. “It sounds easy,” the company said.
