Spectarium’s loot-heavy action RPG Myths is heading to Mythical Market

Secretive Finnish developer Spectarium Games has announced that its mobile/PC action RPG Myths will be the first independent game to support the Mythical Market.

Currently being used by Mythical’s own titles such as FIFA Rivals and Pudgy Party, Mythical Market runs on the Mythos blockchain, which is part of the Polkadot ecosystem.

It enables users to trade their NFTs, which are priced in the MYTH token.

Currently all wallets are hosted by Mythical although it will decentralize this aspect, enabling users to use their own custodial wallets in 2026.

As for Myths, it’s been in development since 2023, which is when Spectarium announced it had raised $5 million from the likes of Bitkraft, Delphi Digital and Frameworks.

At that stage, the game’s blockchain features or supported chain weren’t announced.

Indeed, Spectarium’s CEO Romain Schneider commented that “initially we weren’t sure that using player economies would do Myths justice, but that changed when I met John [Mythical CEO John Linden].

“He immediately understood our vision and showed us how the Mythical Marketplace could make Myths a more connected, player driven world. With John and his amazing team we found the partners who can help us deliver ownership to players without losing what makes Myths special.”

The game is described as a cross-platform 4 player co-op ARPG steeped in ancient mythology and built for a community of players who love action-packed loot-driven gameplay.

Spectarium is also working on Mintarium, a launchpad for interactive, tradable card collections, although it’s not clear if that will also support Mythical Market.
