MSquared launches Mash, its genAI collaborative creation platform

UK infrastructure outfit MSquared has announced the launch of Mash, its AI-powered community-driven content hub.

It uses genAI to enable users to generate 3D assets from text prompts, although the key part of its community focus is that users can also remix and curate each other’s creations. The resulting assets can be downloaded using the open source GLB format, which is supported by platforms including Roblox, Unity, Blender and Garry’s Mod.

Currently only 3D assets can be downloaded but in future support for 3D characters will be added, as will additional assets including animations and sound effects.

Part of UK venture builder Improbable, MSquared has integrated Mash into the Somnia EVM blockchain, with users spending the SOMI token to generate assets, or paying with fiat. A subscription model will also be added in due course.

This means that creators who have their assets remixed will earn a royalty every time it’s used or remixed. All assets will be available under the Creative Commons License.
