Craft World wins Best Use of Blockchain at Mobile Games Awards 2025

While Pocket Gamer’s Mobile Games Awards for 2025 includes plenty of different categories, the one we cared about was the Best Use of Blockchain.

Companies such as Mythical Games for the likes of NFL Rivals and FIFA Rivals, ZBD and Animoca Brands were short-listed, but at the exclusive ceremony held in Gürzenich Köln during Gamescom, the winner was announced as Voya Games for its fully onchain idle game Craft World, which is available on browser and through the app stores.

And CEO Oliver Loffler was on hand to collect the award too.

As we’ve previously covered, Voya Games completed its Project Voyager play-to-airdrop campaign in June, with Craft World going live on the Ronin blockchain at the end of July.

Since then, it’s become the top app on Ronin in terms of the number of transactions generated and the amount of gas used.
