A wallet for beginners in blockchain - WAX Cloud Wallet
After surfing the Internet, the browser opens:
https://all-access.wax.io/
It offers two registration routes:
1. You can click
"Sign Up For Account"
Enter username/email and set password to register.
2. You can directly authorize and bind an existing social media account to register.
Since the first method may require confirmation by email and calling a robot for verification, the second method is more direct. We will demonstrate by binding a Google account as an example.
We double-click the icon of Google Mail (account).
Then click on our account.
Then, after ticking the terms, click
"Accept and Continue".
After successful creation, the page jumps to:
https://wallet.wax.io/dashboard
We see "XXX.wam" below the WAX icon in the upper right corner
This is your WAX account. This account is equivalent to the long ETH address we usually use to send and receive assets on the WAX chain.
Everyone knows that the blockchain network transactions we usually use charge a fee each time.
Since the WAX blockchain is developed based on the EOSIO architecture, its consensus algorithm and resource model are different from other blockchains, so the transaction method is also different from other blockchains that charge fees for each transaction.
WAX is a shared resource that relies on users to stake WAXP for computing resources.
When WAXP is staked, rewards are accumulated over time.
Because it increases the scarcity of the token (as it is shelved and stored until the user withdraws it).
The tokens you hold are yours forever, and staking WAXP for computing resources is actually charging the WAX blockchain so that the WAX community can transact with zero fees and unlimited opportunities.
WAX users who hold tokens also gain voting rights on guild nodes and receive voting rewards, which are paid out from token inflation.
Therefore, we do not need to pay transaction fees in essence when doing transactions on WAX, but we need to pledge WAXP to obtain computing resources.
3. The following teaches you how to pledge resources:
After we purchased WAXP (the token of the WAX blockchain) at CEX.
Click "Withdraw" and enter the WAX account we just created
You can scan the account by clicking "Receive" in the WAX Cloud Wallet
Or directly enter/paste the account number manually
After the assets are credited, the balance will be displayed in the upper left corner
Then click "Resources" on the right
You can pledge for your own account, or pledge for others. Other accounts are pledged for this account, and "Staked by others" will be displayed.
My demo account was registered before August 2021.
For accounts registered before this time point, WAX officially pledged 1 WAX CPU, 1 WAX NET, and about 5KB of RAM for each newly registered user by default;
We can see how much of our computing resources are used. For example, in the picture above, my RAM computing resources are not enough and I must buy some RAM.
We can select the resources to be pledged below, then fill in the amount of pledge, and finally click "Stake".

Pledge according to your own network conditions,
Pay more attention to your RAM usage. RAM usage is faster than CPU/NET, so there is nothing wrong with buying more, so that you won't be able to make transactions when you play chain games in the future.
Unused RAM can also be sold.
4. We can click on the left when we have assets and resources
"dApps" → "Atomic Market"
Buy and sell NFTs on this WAX Chain's most famous NFT exchange.
