Argentine studio Anubika has started Restless Month in Olderfall (official site), its free-to-play auto-battler. The limited-time event introduces Zombies and Werewolves as two new Fallen types and runs from October 31 to December 1, 2026. Players can join now at play.olderfall.com.

Anubika revealed the event on the game’s official X account with a brief teaser: “Some Fallens refuse to rest. Others have something to howl about.” A second post added: “Time to get grinding.”

How to get the new Fallens

Zombie and Werewolf gladiators can be obtained in three ways:

  • Purchase them straight from the Olderfall Shop.
  • Land them on the Premium Spin Wheel, which is available on weekends.
  • Complete the monthly exclusive quests.

Free players can use the quests to add the new gladiators without paying.

Elves and Vampires were already part of the themed lineup, and the two newcomers now sit alongside them. Every themed Fallen sold in the shop has a passive bonus of its own. Elves get 5% extra damage in daytime, while Vampires get 5% extra damage at night. The shop frames the pair as opposing factions, with one rising for dawn and the other hungry for dusk.

Season VII is still running

Season VII: Moon Courting started on October 1 and overlaps with Restless Month. It runs for 60 days and ends at the close of November, which leaves roughly a month to complete it. Rewards are split across Free and Premium Battle Pass tracks, and the top prize is an exclusive weapon, the Romance Blade.

Before Moon Courting came Season 6, “A Matter of Instinct,” which ran August 1 through September 30. Its exclusive weapon was the Blackfang Recurve, and its Battle Pass included Gems and Void Relics.

Ranked Battles, new gear and guild features on the way

The next competitive season in the works is Ranked Battles: Season 1, aimed at players who want to pit their roster against the arena’s strongest. The studio hasn’t given a start date yet.

Two pieces of equipment are due soon, the Deepvein Armor and the Ashel Heavy Hammer. They add fresh options for kitting out Fallens ahead of the ranked season.

Guild features are expanding as well, with a Guild Bank, Guild Perks and a Guild Shop all in development. These add to the Guild Tournament screen that launched in August, which lists each guild’s points, the leaderboard and the rewards up for grabs.

That same August update put a Socketing section into Alchemy, letting players add sockets to weapons and slot in gems. It also reworked the Deathmatch and Flex Tournament screens so each fight’s cost and payout are visible. In September, Olderfall said a new competitive format had reached its final testing phase. In it, players take three Level 20 Fallens into runs made up of five fights each.

Olderfall quests also remain live on Immutable Play, offering extra objectives and rewards linked to in-game activity.

How Olderfall plays

You play as a Gladiator Master, recruiting, training and commanding warriors known as Fallens in arena combat. Each Fallen is procedurally generated with its own DNA, a combination of stats, affinities and traits that determines its fighting style. Some fight as brawlers and others as tacticians. Battles resolve automatically, so preparation decides most outcomes: team composition, gear quality and loadout choices.

Newcomers get a free Fallen and can run up to three at a time. A Gmail account is all that’s needed to sign up, and you don’t need a crypto wallet to get started. Olderfall plays in the browser and is also available on Google Play and the App Store.

The Forge is the heart of progression. There, players merge gear into higher tiers, enhance weapons, or melt down items they don’t need into resources. On the PvP side there are daily Deathmatches, MMR battles and tournaments, and PvE missions plus rotating seasonal events cover the rest.

Chain, currency and tournaments

Fallens, weapons, armor and cosmetics are all NFTs, and Vitrium is the in-game currency. Purchases in the shop are made in USDC on Polygon, and a built-in bridge lets holders of other tokens swap into USDC. Players can list and trade Fallens and gear with each other on the Olderfall Marketplace.

The N3MUS platform hosts weekly tournaments with USDC prize pools. As of May 2026, those paid 500 USDC to the top 75 finishers from Monday to Friday, along with 250 USDC to the top 20 each Friday.

Olderfall joined Immutable Play on March 16, 2026, and sits in its Gaming on Polygon hub. Earlier this year, the two teams ran a Midnight Muster game night with live community rewards.
