Banda Planta & Raiz launches NFT collection and talks about Web3: 'we want more!'
Among the benefits that the first collectibles of the iconic São Paulo reggae band Planta & Raiz will make available, there is one that is driving fans crazy. A Lollapalooza music festival ticket
With just 100 NFTs available , only holders will participate in the draw on March 17. And the winner gets a ticket to the show on March 24th.
With a market of US$ 25 billion in volume of trading in 2022, digital assets and new technologies came to stay. Therefore, the industry is already taking advantage of platforms to create more and more unique experiences for fans and users. Be it music, art or sport , everyone wants a slice of that market.
And for the reggae band Planta & Raiz it is no different because in addition to marking “the group's entry into this universe, it improves the relationship between creators and consumers in a way never seen before”.
Cannabis NFTs
Each collectible costs 0.025 ETH, about US$40, and was thought up by the band's frontman and vocalist, Zeider.
“Dive headfirst into Metaverso with our first digital collection of NFT it's too much, to think that we're living in the time when this internet revolution is happening is surreal, it's the most serious joke that happened to us, because launching a collection of digital joints, each one in its own way, naming each one, it's been so much fun, I can't wait to start my collection.
It's Planta no Metaverso!”, says the vocalist.

In addition to the buyer competing for a Lolla ticket, he can also win 10 physical collectibles and the right to listen to unpublished tracks by the band, among other benefits that will be announced little by little.
In the future, it will receive access to exclusive songs, concert discounts and special accesses!”, explains Marcus Forster, 3D artist and developer of the collection.
Cannabis use debate
Among the ideals of Planta & Raiz is active participation in debates on the use of cannabis
“The musical group dares to bet, but without mischaracterizing what is part of the band's values, which is the driving force ideology of reggae, always linked to uncensored debates on the use of cannabis”.
“Planta sees the metaverse as a new space to redefine reggae for the next generation and cultivate shared experiences that honor the spirit of experimentation and greater connection with music,” explains Planta e Raiz's head of marketing, Paula Gress.
