Malaga will host the exhibition of Pablo Picasso in the metaverse

This opportunity is thanks to the ' Real Metaverse ' of a tourist destination, in which a virtual reality space will be proposed in various stages of the history of the city of Malaga, where anyone can enter from multiple devices and from anywhere in the world .

Malaga will be celebrating at the  metaverse  with the memory of Pablo Picasso. And it is that the place will be filled with an amalgamation of artistic, gastronomic and virtual activities related to the memory of the artist. Also including its history with the Spanish city.

Under the title 'Picasso Celebration 1973-2023', the Culture and Tourism areas of the City Council, together with the institutions linked to the artist, have organized a multitude of temporary exhibitions. These have been seconded by a series of conferences and concerts, as well as interventions, recreational activities, publications and  actions  tourism. Everything to commemorate the memory of Picasso and his artistic legacy. This as reported by the local media  ABC of Seville .

The activity program also includes traditional activities such as the  Picassian Bullfight  in each August fair, also artistic innovations related to technology. But above all, the city will excel at creating an immersive virtual space that will allow visitors to live a virtual experience inspired by Picasso for several people at the same time.

In the metaverse there will be exhibitions, conferences, competitions, concerts related to the artist's work, as well as spaces for the inhabitants of the metaverse to learn about the history of the city of Malaga and Picasso, as well as the interaction between them.

First art exhibition of the year in the metaverse

The metaverse has once again been used as a space for artistic exhibition, following the example of 2022. Last year, the immersive exhibition “Dalí Cibernético” opened its doors at the Centro de Artes Digitales Ideal de Barcelona.- -nbsp;The proposal  presented an unusual journey through the dreamlike universe  Created by the Empordà artist.

This exhibition was, in turn, the first experience with  metaverse  collectively and with freedom of movement in an artistic center.

The Metaverse served in this exhibition to represent the most primitive aspects of the dream state. This characteristic does not stop appearing often in Dalí's surrealism. In this way an experience is born that is both natural for appreciating art and totally innovative. The culmination was the “Dalinian Metaverse” using virtual reality glasses. In it and through a simulation it was possible to navigate through the artwork of Salvador Dalí.

The current event in Malaga, to be held just beginning in 2023, seems to have followed this example on the metaverse and now we will see through virtual reality another great figure in the history of plastic arts; none other than Pablo Picasso.
