Before closing the individual exhibition, Denise Araripe launches NFTs and organizes a chat with the public and a guided tour with a curator

On display at the Candido Mendes Cultural Center with the solo show “Do porão ao attão do Castelo Interior” until December 16, the artist from Rio de Janeiro Denise Araripe will host an event with the launch of NFTs of her works, chat with the public and a guided tour with Mauro Trindade , exhibition curator and art critic. It will be open and free, and will take place on Monday, December 12, at 5:30 pm, in Ipanema.

Those present will have the opportunity to get closer to the artist's imagination and learn more about the works in this exhibition, which brings together eleven paintings on canvas, fourteen gouaches, three objects in acrylic boxes, a sculpture, graphite and oil stick drawings and an installation in dark room style.

“This exhibition is the result of many years of reflection on what can happen after contemplating an art object, when we silence the cultural dialogue and remain whole in front of the work. Fusion, ecstasies and the dark room are not only the result of my intellectual considerations, but also the experience of my own journey from the basement to the attic of my inner castle”, evaluates Denise.

Denise Araripe is from Rio de Janeiro, with an artistic background in Rio de Janeiro, Geneva, London and São Paulo. He exhibits solo shows and participates in exhibitions in Brazil and abroad since 1992. He has works in institutional collections and private collections in Brazil, the United States, Italy and France. His studio is located in Laranjeiras, in Rio de Janeiro.
