Details About The $SNFTS Bonus Snapshot

A few days ago we asked you guys whether there should be a bonus snapshot for $SFUND stakers and farmers to get a final chance to get some more $SNFTS, before the airdrop that will take place on 21st of August.

With the poll results as per above, we decided to do another bonus snapshot (on top of the initial 5 snapshots we had).

Here are the details of the Bonus $SNFTS Snapshot for $SFUND stakers and farmers:

Snapshot ratio: Since this is a bonus snapshot, instead of like the early 1 $SFUND = 20 $SNFTS ratio snapshots, this one will have 1 $SFUND = 10 $SNFTS ratio. The vesting system will stay the same.

Snapshot of staking pools: We will be taking snapshots only from the longer period staking pools, namely 180, 90, 60 and 30 day staking pools.

Snapshot of farming pool: There will be snapshot of farming pool but with a catch; since it has a rather lower barrier of withdrawal (7-days maturity), we will only count farmers who have been farming before this announcement, so new farming deposits during this time will not be accounted for the snapshots, so that we can disincentivize people joining farming pool just to get benefit of the snapshot with a low lock duration.

Farmers who want to instead join staking pools can do so, as the $SNFTS snapshots will be at the bonus snapshot date and time. Farmers who want to stay farming can stay farming, as they will be eligible for the snapshot. But we don’t recommend new people to enter farms after this announcement for the snapshots, as they won’t be counted.

Snapshot date: The snapshot will take place on 11:11 pm UTC at 15th of August, so in about a week from this article.

Is there any chance for another bonus snapshots after this? No. This is only a one-time final thing. There won’t be any bonus snapshots of pools besides this.

Will this bonus snapshot increase the circulating supply of $SNFTS? No. The rest of the circulating supply were gonna be airdropped to other NFT communities, and partners like stated in all previous articles. The bonus snapshot will only increase the amount our community gets from the first pie a bit more. The initial circulating supply at the time of the airdrop will be the same exact numbers, not diluting old snapshot users, and not creating extra tokens in the process.

What are other benefits of this bonus snapshot? Firstly, it will provide another extra incentive to our stakers and farmers. Second, it means less pressure in the first day, and more benefit for everyone in the end, since a bit more of the circulating supply will be at the hands of Seedify community. Third, there have been more and more people hearing and joining to our community after the initial snapshots took place. It’s always good to be welcoming to all, and giving everyone some chance to accumulate some $SNFTS. And finally, so this next week can be filled with more excitement and word of mouth about $SNFTS, while we are getting close to the airdrop date (21st of August).
